Terms of Service
Effective date: June 10, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RigDesk ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including shop owners, managers, service advisors, technicians, and accountant seats.
2. Description of Service
RigDesk is a cloud-based shop management platform for RV repair shops. The Service includes work order management, scheduling, customer and vehicle records, estimates, invoicing, parts inventory tracking, team management, an employee time clock with payroll reporting, commission tracking, expense tracking with profit & loss reporting, customer marketing tools, and related features. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@rigdesk.net if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
4. Subscription and Billing
RigDesk is offered on a subscription basis. The current pricing is $299/month for the base plan (one location), with additional locations billed at $149/month each. The optional Marketing Suite add-on is billed at $29.99/month. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice.
New subscriptions begin with a 30-day free trial. Your payment method is collected at signup but will not be charged until the trial period ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. If payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and may suspend access to your account until payment is resolved.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account's billing settings or by contacting support@rigdesk.net. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until the period ends. We do not provide partial-month refunds.
6. Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you enter into RigDesk, including customer records, work orders, and business information. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your data to provide the Service. We do not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Upon account termination, you may export your data. We will retain your data for up to 90 days after cancellation before deletion.
7. Payroll, Time Tracking & Financial Reports
RigDesk provides time clock records, hour and overtime calculations, commission tracking, pay period summaries, expense tracking, and profit & loss reports as record-keeping and informational tools. RigDesk is not a payroll processor, tax preparer, accounting firm, or law firm, and nothing in the Service constitutes financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice.
You are solely responsible for: (a) verifying the accuracy of hours, rates, overtime, and pay amounts before paying employees; (b) complying with all applicable federal, state, and local wage, hour, overtime, break, and employment record-keeping laws; (c) filing and paying all taxes; and (d) reviewing financial reports with a qualified professional before relying on them for tax or compliance purposes. Overtime in RigDesk is calculated using a configurable weekly threshold and multiplier — confirm these settings match the laws that apply to your business.
When you enter team members' or customers' personal information into the Service, you represent that you have the legal right to do so, and that marketing campaigns you send comply with applicable email marketing laws (such as CAN-SPAM). RigDesk automatically includes unsubscribe links in marketing emails and honors opt-outs.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe on the rights of others
- Transmit spam, malware, or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system
- Use the Service for any purpose other than legitimate shop management
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Intellectual Property
The RigDesk platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by RigDesk and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RigDesk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
